We are looking for a **(Junior) Buyer (M/F/d) for ABOUT YOU's Online Outlet** who is motivated to strategically analyze, plan and purchase the brand and product portfolio for our recently launched off-price online shop (aboutyou-outlet.de).

**ABOUT OUR TEAM**
Our Buying Team is responsible to plan and purchase an on-trend and profitable selection of products and the continuous expansion of our brand portfolio. But discovering new products and finding the latest fashion and lifestyle trends is only one aspect, as our Buying Team is additionally responsible for keeping track of most relevant KPIs and processes.
The team is embedded in ABOUT YOU's Outlet department which reports directly to the CEOs. It works hand in hand with Marketing & Tech as well as Business Development & Planning which are also part of ABOUT YOU's Outlet department.

**ABOUT YOUR ROLE**
As our (Junior) Buyer (M/F/d) you seiz growth opportunities for the off-price segment by strategically estimating assortment opportunities, independently drive key analysis and work closely with cross-functional teams to derive meaningful insights. These insights will serve as the basis for planning and purchasing your own assortment and brand portfolio end-to-end.
ABOUT YOU's Outlet just went live and as such you are responsible for actively driving our off-price segment and spot opportunities in the assortment to address customer and business needs. While you will work independently on your tasks, your team members both from the Buying team and ABOUT YOU's whole Outlet department are here to support you. Thereby, you will develop a comprehensive e-commerce skill-set to enable you on your further career path.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for defining brands strategy including budget and assortment planning for ABOUT YOU's off-price segment
- Independent purchasing of external brands while adhering to the planned purchasing budget and considering all relevant KPIs
- Development, optimisation and support of the product range
- Conducting (and participating in) negotiations on terms and conditions with suppliers
- Monitoring competition and market developments
- Regular and proactive coordination with Merchandise Management, Conditions Management and Supply Chain Management

**Requirements**:

- Degree in business or têxtile management
- First professional experience in an independent purchasing of external brands
- Desirable: Professional experience in working with companies/brands in off-price or outlet segment as well as driving campaigns for certain categories or brands
- Strong analytical skills, logical thinking and confident in working with numbers and data sets
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness as well as several years of negotiating experience
- Structured approach and reliability even in phases of high stress
- Distinct sense of trends and understanding of fashion
