**Internship Role**

**Löning - Human Rights & Responsible Business **is an international management

consultancy specialised in human rights. Founded in 2014 by the former Commissioner for

Human Rights of Germany, Markus Löning, we provide practical and strategic advisory

services to businesses on how to incorporate respect for human rights into their business

operations and along their value chains.

We are a diverse and international team of experts from different professional backgrounds,

who advise our clients in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese and speak Dutch, French,

Hindi, Italian, Luxembourgish, Turkish and Vietnamese.

We are always looking for student interns to support our team of consultants for periods of

three months. Our interns are involved in our client projects and work on research projects

and the development of tools and products.

Currently, we are seeking interns that are fluent in both English and German but we regularly

welcome non-German speakers as interns throughout the year.

As an intern, your responsibilities will primarily include:

- Supporting the consultants in various client projects including in the research of

current human rights issues and standards of labour norms in different sectors,

supply chains, countries and regions.
- Examples of projects you will be supporting: developing tools for

assessing human rights risks, drafting briefings on international regulatory

developments, conducting research on human rights violations
- Supporting the team with administrative and communication-related tasks

What we expect of you:

- A strong interest in social and human rights issues in business
- A team player with good communication skills
- The ability to be self-organised and diligent
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Native German-speaker, fluent in English
- Enrolment at undergraduate or graduate level
