Financial Controller Central Function

In your new role you will:

- Actively **perform c **ost controlling on cost center and organization level **(e.g. planning, forecasting, target setting, gap analysis between targets and current situation, assessments of cost reduction potential and global consolidation); focus for your finance business partnering would be our word wide Quality Management organization
- Independently **implement modern controlling ideas **for the Financial Controlling Central Function
- Actively **drive resource controlling **(for HC and Invest)
- **Prepare and present cost reports **(of a certain standard) to management within the QM management circle
- **Interpretate cost facts and figures **and **advise/consult business partner**:

- In addition, **consolidation of OP Central Function within Cluster 71**

You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation, clarify areas of responsibility, coordinate your work with colleagues, and regularly share your insights with them. You act as an entrepreneur, focus on results and stay aware of costs, commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole. Furthermore, you strive for continuous improvement and promote an awareness for continuous quality in your area of work.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A degree in **business administration **or in an equivalent field
- At least **3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling **within a corporate group, ideally in a matrix structure; (alternative in case of less experience, the hiring manager would start with a lower grade and train up)
- **Affinity for figures and data **, experience with **IT tools **(such as SAP BW and BPC, ideally iCup and SAP BPC). Microsoft office is an advantage.
- An **independent and pro-active approach **to your work
- Fluent spoken and written **English **skills; knowledge of **German is a plus**

The **Corporate Finance **department ( **CFI **) is responsible for Infineon’s capital management with the key objective to ensure access to funding and financial flexibility on the basis of a sound capital structure. In line with this objective CFI taps the banking and capital markets through a range of instruments and structures and executes respective transactions. In that context, CFI is also responsible for Infineon's banking strategy. Within the Infineon group, subsidiaries are financed centrally which is planned and directed by CFI. In addition, the team advises and supports corporate projects such as M&A transactions on treasury-related topics as well as divisional and operational teams regarding financing related questions in the context of guarantees, leasing and prepayments.
