As Product Owner of our Backend Services team you will lead a team of developers building state-of-the-art services for the app and game development teams at justDice.

The Backend Services Team is a new team at justDice, and in this position you will be instrumental in recruiting the team, building internal processes with stakeholders and driving the development of our backend services.

Tasks
- Lead a team of developers building state of the art backend services for our product teams
- Analyze, identify and prioritize service requests from product teams and translate them into functioning services
- Be responsible for the development team, manage their progress and make relevant strategic decisions
- Be the central contact person for all the relevant stakeholders
- Communicate your teams progress to our product teams and management
- Implement a lean, high output development process and improve the quality of development

**Requirements**:

- You have already accumulated several years of product management/product owner experience, ideally in building backend services for high volume B2C products
- You have a strong knowledge of project management in an environment with flat hierarchies and ideally have expertise in agile software development methods
- You are a digital native who has a strong interest in technology, you know the common business models and have experience in Business Development, if possible in the mobile games, digital consumer businesses or gambling services environment
- You understand how to harmonize user needs and business goals with technological challenges
- You want to take over responsibility and make business decisions
- You have experience with leading a team and have proven that you are a real team player who masters and appreciates the cooperation and leadership of interdisciplinary teams
- You have clear communication skills and know how to guide and motivate individuals to develop their maximum capabilities
- You communicate fluently in English
