Tasks
- Manage all financial operations of the company
- Lead and drive an efficient monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, ensuring that accurate and timely financial information & management reporting is available
- Oversee the company’s accounting function, including revenue management, payables, receivables and collections, capital management, treasury, and taxes
- Collaborate with the leadership team to formulate budgets and manage FP&A activities
- Create insightful dashboards, provide relevant best in class benchmarks, and derive relevant recommendations
- Drive and support strategic planning, investor, and board relations to execute corporate finance activities, including venture capital fundraising
- Manage relationships with the company’s accounting, tax, banking, and insurance vendors
- Lead business operations cycles including annual planning and budgets, preparation for board meetings, quarterly OKR’s, and other internal all-hands
- Manage vendor contract negotiations and develop contractual standards used for customer and partner relationships
- Grow and develop a dedicated Finance & Operations team

**Requirements**:

- You have a bachelor or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
- You have 4+ years of experience in Finance at high-performing organizations (e.g. in a Startup, IB, PE, or as a Management Consultant), ideally a fast-growing start-up/scale-up
- Experience in fundraising and successfully managing investor relations is a plus
- Working experience in the insurance industry and knowledge of its regulations is a plus
- Experience in creating and managing a complex financial model and budget
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues
- Great leadership skills, including clear and appreciative communication
- You must thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven, rapidly changing environment and effectively handle competing views
- You are business fluent in German and English
