Become part of a forward-thinking team that enhances efficiency, productivity, and sustainability at Covestro.- You will design and develop enterprise-wide, scalable solutions for the digitalization of manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and productivity- Your task is to develop cloud-based manufacturing solutions, particularly for levels 2 to 4 of the ISA95 model, as well as the implementation of IoT edge solutions- You are responsible for coordinating and managing implementation projects at various Covestro sites and integrating the solutions with other IT systems- The maintenance and continuous development of the implemented systems are in your hands to keep them up-to-date and adapted to the needs of Covestro- You will significantly contribute to the company's success by driving digitalization in the manufacturing area, leading to higher reliability, efficiency, and employee satisfaction- You will work in international teams as the interface between production and IT/OT

WHAT YOU OFFER- You have a master's degree in (business) computer science, engineering, or a related field- You possess extensive and profound professional experience as an IT system architect and project coordinator, ideally in the field of (chemical) manufacturing or industrial automation- Your expertise includes cloud computing platforms, especially AWS, or knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud Platform- You have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and automation systems and are familiar with industry standards such as ISA95 and NAMUR Open Architecture- Experience with IoT platforms, edge computing, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in the industry distinguishes you-
- Programming skills in languages and frameworks relevant to cloud and IoT solutions are advantageous- You can demonstrate project management skills and successes in the implementation of systems- Your problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills are pronounced- Strong communication and collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams- Fluent English skills complete your profile; German skills are desirable but not a must
