**About the Role**

CPM BMW is searching for a SW project lead industrialization (m/w/d) for Multi Graphical Units (MGUs) / Digital Cockpits (DC). The SW PL will actively manage and oversee industrialization of DC projects executed by BU delivery teams, plant, AME or external partners. This includes close planning, driving and alignment of development tasks and milestones towards our customer BMW and within internal and external partners or suppliers. The Project Lead must like to work in a highly dynamic and rapidly changing environment and under very high pressure. Searching and driving for solutions even in tricky situation must be vital part of your leadership personality.

**What You Will Do**
- Leading international SW development teams for automotive products
- Responsible for strategic and operational handover of software packages into production for BMW infotainment systems
- Technical interface between software development, integration, project management and production in a distributed complex work environment
- Ensuring delivery dates and organizing solutions to eliminate line stop situations
- Plan and manage SW deliveries to manufacturing plants by taking into account specific requirements (e.g. procedures and tools for bring-up)
- Support and steering of all SW deliveries starting with RFQ phase until SOP and maintenance.
- Managing the SW-Requirement-Engineering and Change Management (End-2-End) as well as setting up and reviewing effort estimations and architecture
- Plan and manage necessary SW configuration for variants
- Ensure compliance to required processes, quality and licensing rules (ASPICE, BMS, M-Gates, risk management etc)

**What You Need**
- Degree in Engineering (Computer Science / Information Technology / Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) or related field of studies
- Minimum 7 years of experience in development, program or in automotive SW projects
- Good understanding of production and industrialization processes or requirements
- Strong customer focus required
- Willingness to combine conceptual with real hands-on work
- Ability to motivate, communicate and mediate between conflicting parties
- Distinct abilities in managing large internationally oriented multifunctional teams in worldwide locations
- Profound experience of automotive software architecture, software development as well as “state-of-the-art” software technologies and standards in infotainment systems.
- Very good and applied knowledge of project management methodology
- Fluent English skills (technical & presentation) are mandatory
- Fluent German skills (technical & presentation) are a plus

**What is Nice to Have**
- Experience in collaborating with BMW is considered as an advantage

**What Makes You Eligible**
- Be willing to travel up to 20% (usually day trips to customer)
