Your tasks
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for embedded systems using Python.
- Set up and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements.
- Run and monitor automated tests, analyze test results and report defects.
- Ensure thorough testing of embedded systems to meet quality and performance standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
- Maintain documentation for test procedures, configurations and results.

**Profile**:

- ️ Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field.
- ️ Programming languages: Proficiency in Python, familiarity with C/C++ is an advantage.
- ️ Experience in testing embedded systems and understanding of embedded systems development, including knowledge of microcontrollers, RTOS, hardware interfaces and wireless communication (WiFi, Bluetooth, LORA).
- ️ Version control: Extensive experience with Git, including branching, merging and repository management.
- ️ Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
- ️ Test automation: Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts, experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. PyTest, Robot Framework, Cucumber) and knowledge of BDD and TDD.
- ️ Scripting: Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) for automation tasks and ability to write scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
- ️ Software development lifecycle (SDLC): Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies and experience with tools like JIRA to track development tasks and defects.
- ️ Good written and spoken German (at least B2) and English (technically fluent).
