**Your tasks**:
As Head of Design System (M/F/d), you will manage the personnel and technical aspects of a large area of responsibility. You willbe the point of contact for complex and particularly difficult issues with strong decision-making and decision-making authority.
- You are responsible for development, implementation and adoption of a unified design-to-code design system that ensuresconsistent visual language and component scalability across all digital products
- You oversee the integration and continuous improvement of design tokens and reusable UI elements that support rapiditeration and robust user experiences
- You establish and refine advanced tools to streamline cross-functional collaboration between design, engineering, and product teams
- You leverage user feedback and usability testing insights to iteratively enhance the design system, aligning it with evolvingbrand identity, product requirements and technology trends
- You are responsible for selecting new employees, organizing the team, motivating employees, initiating training and furtherdevelopment and promoting talent
- You cascade the overarching strategy into your own area and develop design system strategies, basic regulations and work flow adotions
- You optimize the area of responsibility based on key figures, increase process efficiency and perform budget planning tasks
- You represent work results to the higher management level
- You are involved in projects

**Your Profile**:
You have a degree with a focus on User Experience, Service Design or a comparable qualification and already have many yearsof professional experience in the User Experience and Design System environment.

Furthermore, you are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:

- Many years of experience in architecting and managing scalable design systems that elevate user experience
- Passion for translating complex design challenges into intuitive, cohesive solutions
- Many years of experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design system standards and advanced toolswith product development goals
- Passion for driving innovation through emerging design trends in combination with many years of experience of advancedprototyping techniques
- Experience in developing and maintaining detailed design documentation and component libraries
- Many years of experience in combining design craft with deep understanding of frontend standards, native UI patterns, and platform conventions like web and mobile apps
- Many years of experience of user experience and design of high-tech international consumer products
- Many years of experience in mentoring creative teams to foster a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement
- Many years of experience in strategic design projects and related execution to optimize design work flows and processes
- Several years of experience in the independent and binding planning and management of new topics
- Strong experience with a holistic (integrated) perspective
- Strong knowledge of budget and cost management
- Strong knowledge of technical standards around frontends and native user interfaces
- Excellent experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
