**Overview**: We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious communications specialist and researcher, to enhance our marketing strategy targeting start-ups, remote workers, and HR professionals interested in Future of Work - focus in key German cities for our innovative tourism company, Coconat.

For funding reasons, we are seeking recent graduates (less than 36 months).

**Tasks**:

- **Market Research (Project Summery - more robust description below).**
- Identify crucial events, publications, networks, university, and incubator structures relevant to the start-up ecosystem in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Cologne.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences within the start-up and remote worker sectors.
- Present on a weekly basis
- **Product and Message Review**:

- Evaluate our existing products and messaging to align them with the needs and aspirations of start-ups, remote workers, and HR/Future of Work enthusiasts.
- Analyze Coconat’s current communications with regards to our environmental sustainability and social impact commitments and transparency.
- Conduct surveys and interviews with potential clients to understand their expectations and preferences.
- Present results and work with on new campaigns
- Implement the measures
- **Marketing Measures**:

- Develop and prioritize marketing measures based on the identified events, networks, and publications.
- Estimate the costs associated with each measure and provide recommendations for efficient resource allocation.
- Implement measures - for example: Social Media posting, website updates, press work, brochure and flier creation, local communications work, etc.
- Prepare weekly KPI reports and collecting press clippings
- **Online and Offline Promotion**:

- Investigate SEO strategies to enhance our online visibility among identified target groups
- Explore options for online and offline advertising campaigns tailored for the new audiences.
- Implement measures
- **Innovation, Nature, and Creativity Integration**:

- Develop strategies to incorporate Coconat’s already available innovative offerings into Coconat’s marketing approach.
- Review all external research papers studies, and evaluations about Coconat, with special view on bringing our commitments to environmental sustainability and social impact to our messaging
- Test the assumptions outlined below by proposing A/B testing
- **Other Tasks**:

- Work closely with the Managing Director on various general activities:
- Summarizing DE language documents and communications
- Taking minutes during meetings
- Summarizing and follow up tasks to important (Marketing) partner meetings
- Helping with various organizational and admin tasks to do with Marketing activities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. [The innovation assistant’s most recent degree (university degree or completion of regulated advanced vocational training) must not date back more than 36 months at the time of recruitment. The date of the degree certificate is decisive].
- Strong research skills and the ability to analyze market trends and customer behavior.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, online advertising, and social media campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Creativity and innovative thinking to develop compelling marketing strategies.
- Strong English and Fluent German required

Not required, but beneficial skills:

- Graphic Design experience - Canva, Adobe suite, other (please specify and send examples)
- WordPress - Divi a bonus
- Video experience - for Social Media (please specify which apps you are using and send examples)
- Project Management
- Press work

**Part-Time**: 30hrs./week
