You have
The ideal applicant has an appropriate university degree (Masters or PhD degree or equivalent), or alternatively, technical school training as a technician. Extensive prior experience in molecular biology and genomics methods along with practical knowledge of NGS technology, related instrumentation and their operation are essential. Experience with proteomic analytical methods as well as in programming and biocomputing will be considered a strong advantage.
The post holder should be able to enjoy working in a friendly service team in a highly collaborative environment. Strong organizational, problem solving, social and communication skills along with the ability to interact with GeneCore users in English and to work in an international team are essential.
Expertise with Windows OS is necessary.
You might also have
Basic skills with the LINUX/UNIX operating system, programming in the Python and R languages as well as familiarity with database organization and processing of large-scale genomics datasets will be an advantage.
