Your tasksAre you a skilled Research Technician (m/f/d) with experience in protein purification? Do you thrive in a collaborative, cutting-edge scientific environment? Great Because we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dynamic research setting focused on native protein purification from human sources.Your key responsibilities:You perform protein purification using techniques such as affinity chromatography, size exclusion chromatography, ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction chromatography.You prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, buffers and equipment for experiments.You troubleshoot and optimize purification protocols to achieve high-quality, high-yield protein isolation.You analyze protein purity and concentration using SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and spectrophotometric methods.You maintain detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks and prepare reports.You assist in designing and executing experiments in collaboration with senior researchers and project leads.You ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines in the laboratory.Your profileYou have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.You have proven experience in protein purification techniques (e.g., affinity chromatography, FPLC, HPLC).You are familiar with protein analysis methods such as SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and mass spectrometry.You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.You are able to work independently as well as in a team environment.You have excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain meticulous records.Previous experience in a research laboratory setting is preferred.You speak fluent English and German.Why us?What we offer:An open ended, full-time employment contract (40 hours/week).An exciting and varied job in internal sales.Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday in a motivated team with a very good working atmosphere.A company pension scheme, company sports, regular physiotherapy and discounted access to gyms.Free drinks and fresh fruit as our contribution to the well-being of our team.Convenient location and free parking.Does that sound convincing?Does this sound appealing to you and would you like to become part of our company?
