Computer Vision Master's Thesis for Point Tracking

**Your mission**:
We are looking for a master’s thesis student for researching on 2D/3D point tracking in close supervision with our Computer Vision team members. Join us to contribute to groundbreaking research and work in an internationally renowned research and development company

This position is advertised for our Munich office and can be combined with our flexible home-office scheme.

Tasks will include:

- Conducting an extensive literature study
- Creating a set of baselines from the state-of-the-art approaches
- Investigating and developing new solutions to contribute to research with a direction for a publication at high-grade conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICRA, MICCAI etc.)

Furthermore you will
- Have the chance to engage with the academic community by publishing papers and make interesting contacts both in academia and industry
- Work in an internationally operating R&D company

**Your profile**:

- Have strong background in computer vision, 3D geometry and machine learning
- Ideally have prior experience with 2D/3D point matching and tracking
- Proficient in Python with expertise in PyTorch and other relevant computer vision libraries; experience with C/C++ is a bonus but not required
- Excited to spend minimum six months in our company for the master’s thesis
- Fluent in English
- A quick learner and great team player
