**The opportunity**

We're currently looking for a Specialist in Finance & Reporting. Someone to join our finance team in order to drive our financial statements and be in close cooperations with our Accounting Shared Service Center. Someone who loves to connect with the other business departments as well as with our supplier network. And someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. This position is located in Cologne. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to home office and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.

**The responsibilities**

As a member of the finance team, you will be instrumental in the consolidation of our financial statements. Below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:

- Liaison with and local contact for the Accounting Shared Service Center in Madrid
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual IFRS financial statements
- Independent reconciliation of statutory financial statements under commercial law
- Point of contact for internal and external audit and process audit
- Point of contact for tax consultants
- Verification and allocation of incoming and outgoing invoices
- Supporting the SSC in close contact with suppliers and customers
- Budget control in close coordination with the specialist departments
- Supporting the development of processes and working on projects
- Independent task management

In addition, you will need the following qualifications:

- Confident handling of accounting in a shared service center environment
- Experience of working in an international organization
- Strong accounting and VAT skills
- MS Office (Excel, PPT, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- Fluent in English
- Ideally SAP experience and automotive knowledge
