We are the next big thing in travel
We are looking for an experienced deal-maker to join our team in Berlin, and help us digitalize the nautical industry by co-leading Zizoo’s investor relations and M&A initiatives.
Tasks
- Work closely with CFO, finance and management team to support company’s investor relations, M&A and fundraising initiatives
- Taking the lead on preparing presentations, dataroom materials and proactive communication with the company’s existing and new investors
- Manage the financing round process (coordination, due diligence, legal documentation etc)
- Coordinate with the leadership & BI in the collection of inputs for creating supporting materials, dataroom
- Actively monitoring industry trends and creating insights and reports with key stakeholders
- Business forecast modeling and remodeling of key company metrics and projections
- Share shareholder reports and organize update calls
- Driving M&A initiatives: deal assessment, structuring, coordination and execution; Proactive monitoring and exploring of M&A opportunities
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Business & Administration, ideally an MBA or Master’s degree
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance consultancy or a similar role at a high-growth company
- Deal-making skills in M&A is a PLUS;
- Proficient with MS Excel & Powerpoint
- Superb business plan modeling and forecasting skills;
- Demonstrated understanding of technology and business models. Must demonstrate the desire and capacity to learn about our industry, products, competitors and other key audiences
- Great communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail
- Analytical skills (e.g. sensitivity analysis, cohort analysis etc);
- Strong organizational skills. History of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive projects
- Proficiency in English
