Ip Data Specialist

In IP we unlock the patent protected parts of the market to enable early patient access to affordable medicines and create savings to the healthcare systems across the globe. The IP data specialist supports the team to identify those early launch opportunities through managing our IP information and taking a creative view of our data to generate unique insights into how we can serve patients and drive value.**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ensure data integrity and consistency through processes and tools, including identifying and addressing key data gaps
- Manage update of IP data in respective systems using internal and external sources
- Ensure data updates are reviewed and approved by the respective data owner, eg. GPA
- Identifies opportunities to feed and improve internal IP data systems from external sources eg. Orange book data, EPO data
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve and enhance our data systems in reaction to our clients’ needs
- Project management with external stakeholders to anticipate and prepare data structure change
- Coordinates with IT on technical implementation of automation
- Timely update of IP data, eg. Inclusion of newly granted/pending patents with expiry dates and identification number in IP data tool
- Prioritizing work packages ensuring high impact is achieved and resolving data entry/update issues
- Proactively identify gaps/enhancements in data structures and provide solutions and understanding of different IP and Sandoz data tools and their connections between each other

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Relevant university degree (commercial, legal, IT) min. 3-5 years of experience in related field
- English is required, German preferable
- Advanced Excel skills, experience in data structure design and IP data knowledge
- Ability to explain IT & data structure information to non-IT colleagues
- Experience in managing mass data uploads and issue management
