**Local Custody Corporate Actions & Proxy Officer (M/F/d)**
Frankfurt Full-time/Part-time permanent
BNP Paribas Securities Services provides asset-servicing services to investment funds, securities and alternative assets throughout the investment process. The unit is the largest depositary for securities, real estate funds in Germany and one of the five leading global custodians worldwide. Around 300 employees in Germany develop integrated digital solutions for all customer segments from one source.
Challenges that let you grow:
- Responsible for information gathering of Corporate Action and Proxy Voting Events
- Complete end-to-end Processing of domestic and non-domestic Corporate Action and Proxy Voting Events
- Ensure the execution of client instructions on voluntary events
- Responsible for processing of market claims and transformations
- Cooperation with the local CSD and international ICSD as well as with agent banks, counterparties and issuers
- Ensure the regular reporting to clients and daily checks required
- Management and Reconciliation of accounts (e.g. Client, Book, Nostro, Pivot and Suspense-Accounts)
- Collect data for KPI & KRI-Management and prepare team performance statistics
- Ensure the implementation of Operational Risk Management procedures and tools in daily business and provide the full support to Risk Management, ORC, OPC, Compliance and Audit control initiatives
- Be closely involved and take initiative in the development, testing and implementation of procedural and technical enhancements (e.g. project or special tasks)
Skills that convince:
- Degree in Economics/Finance or vocational training in relevant field
- Basic knowledge in Custody Corporate Actions and/or Proxy Voting
- Ability to identify and understand a business need/goal and take the appropriate activities to provide a solution
- Ability to work in a team and to attend to details
- Very good German and English language skills
