- You are responsible for independently leading the origination, structuring, due diligence process, negotiation of documentation and completion of project financings and other structured transactions based upon ring-fenced cash flows and assets
- You are leading transaction-individual internal deal-teams, consisting of designated internal specialists
- Marketing to customers, prospective customers and banks with the objective of business generation. This includes the development of new customer groups as well as the consistent raising of the respective customer potential in cooperation with the customer advisors.
- Originating of cross sell opportunities
- Ensuring fulfillment of all required processes associated with deal origination and execution.
- Close cooperation with the Syndications Department as necessary to support our originate-to-distribute strategy
- Carrying out research, market studies, sector analyses, etc. and compiling results in respective management reports.
- Undertaking special projects, including assisting as necessary in the preparation of annual sector budgets and development of business strategies.
- Substantially contributing to sector financial results by developing and implementing origination strategies and innovative solutions to the changing needs of key customers
- To closely cooperate with export credit insurers, multilateral institutions as well as manufacturers of equipment in the acquisition and structuring of ECA-covered project financing inside and outside the core markets.

**Qualifications**:

- University level education preferably in Economics, Business Administration, or STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
- You must have Sales experience and negotiation skills gained in the International Project Finance market
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Specialist or Senior Specialist in the international banking/lending business, ideally in the area of Structured Finance/Project Finance
- You must show a strong network of key decision makers in the energy industry: i.e. developers, IPPs, utilities, grid operators, relevant institutional investors and asset managers as well as other banks, ECAs and advisors
- In depth knowledge of utilities and grid operators, but also evolving technologies (e.g. EV charging, batteries, storage)
required to address competition for business flow
- You must be proficient in English (written and spoken), another language (e.g.
German) would be beneficial
- Comprehensive experience with financial model calculations (cash flow models, business plans) alongside profound knowledge of contractual financial and project documentations and credit risk
- You don’t mind deadline driven workflows and working under tight deadlines
- You are willing to travel often
