**Responsibilities**:
We are looking for someone who is motivated by collaborating on how to take the best next steps in sustainable procurement. Who leads, develops and supports by example and thrives on finding the right balance between short term gain and long-term investments. Prepare and navigate your team through the global ongoing electrification transition. You will lead our global category of Semiconductors and be responsible for the development of the strategic direction.
We are searching for a balanced leader who, together with procurement and leadership colleges, will drive the global procurement agenda. Our ambition is to lead and positively challenge both internal and external stakeholders. We need someone who is a strong concept thinker and excels in stakeholder management.
You will be working in a matrix organization, and we ‘Think Danfoss.’ Think empowerment; delivering through others; strategic leadership - and you must walk the talk, every day. Partnerships and team-based cooperation combined with business acumen are essential ingredients in this role.
**Background & Skills**:
To be successful in this position, you need to possess a business degree combined with a mínimal of 7 years of working experience in a global procurement setting, preferably with in the Semiconductor environment.
Additionally, we would like to see:
- Have a background with procurement tools, strategic methods and technical understanding;
- Experience with category (lead) management in the Semiconductor industry;
- Able to navigate and communicate with different levels in organizations, both internal and external;
- Master the art of negotiating;
- Preferably based in the Northern and or Western part of Europe;
- Be fluent in the English language (both in writing and speaking).
