In the Food Alliance, we help millions of HelloFresh customers in 17 countries (and growing) across the globe discover tasty and healthy food that they will love cooking and enjoy eating. We do that by building great customer experiences across web, iOS, and Android - powered by scalable backend systems. We also provide tools for internal users to plan the product offering for our customers.
We have a variety of interesting product, design, and technical challenges. Like shaping the direction of new innovative products, scaling up existing systems, and unifying complex data workflows.
**The role**:
We are looking for our next product pioneer to help us radically transform our shopping experience. As an Associate Director of Product within the Food Tech Alliance, you'll join a cross-functional team building shopping features and food recommendations that enable shoppers to discover our delicious food offerings. You will manage complex projects that impact other departments and position yourself as an expert in your domain for the other teams. This role has high potential to move from an individual contributor role to a people manager.
**What you'll do**:
- **Collaborate** with a cross-functional team of Engineers, Product Designers, Researchers, Product Analysts, and senior business stakeholders
- **Discover** new product opportunities to make shopping on HelloFresh intuitive and seamless
- **Define,** Plan and Deliver complex web features and track their impact
- **Break dow**n complex requirements into Epics, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria and prioritize accordingly, ultimately owning the product roadmap.
- **Support** the end-user testing of new features in order to facilitate the roll-out
- **Deliver** consistently and iterate fast while measuring progress through KPIs and relevant metrics
- **Set up **adequate processes to work with your agile team and constantly improve them
**What you'll bring**:
- You can demonstrate the ability to manage technical products from inception to launch in collaboration of team of engineers and other product owners
- You have a problem solving mind and you are obsessed with simplicity and scalability
- You are a skilled communicator: can distill complex ideas to make them universally understandable, have attention to detail and and capable of adapting communication to different stakeholder levels
- You use both qualitative and quantitative data to validate hypotheses and drive decisions
- Ability to document processes, write technical requirements and develop business models
- Demonstrated aptitude to adapt to a fast-moving and constantly evolving environment, and being able to effectively prioritize multiple requests
