Team Lead Engineering

**Team Lead Engineering (String Editor)**:
At Memsource we help our customers go global. We provide a leading translation management system (Memsource) and software localization platform (Phrase), supporting 500+ languages, 50+ file types and covering the full range of enterprise localization use cases. With a global team working from our offices or from home across Europe, US, UK and Japan, we serve thousands of global customers, including leading brands such as Uber, Bosch, Lufthansa, Supercell, Vistaprint and Zendesk.

As Team Lead Engineering (String Editor) you will empower a team of frontend and full-stack developers to build the best software localization editor on the planet.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Growing your team of frontend and full-stack developers by actively recruiting new team members and supporting the people in your team in their career paths
- Working closely with Product Management to plan iterations and ship code successfully
- Collaborating with department leaders to shape the roadmap and help driving the vision of the future editor experience
- Overseeing and driving decisions on architecture and tooling
- Guiding your team members by providing feedback through code reviews, assessments and coaching
- Participating in initiatives across teams and departments
- Presenting and celebrating your team's accomplishments

**What you need**:

- Experience in managing and leading a frontend-focused team of engineers successfully
- Expert knowledge of modern frontend development, especially Typescript, Vue.js, Apollo, GraphQL, Cypress, Vite
- Previous experience in Ruby/Rails is a plus
- High proficiency in spoken and written English - we’re an international team and English is our official language
