**Strategic Vendor Management Lead**

**What to expect**:

- You lead a cross-regional team of 3 people within the Global IT Organization
- You work with the Head of IT Strategy to develop and govern the Global IT sourcing strategy
- You support the Global IT leadership team in the selection of strategic third-party partners, such as technology suppliers and outsourcing and professional services companies
- You monitor and report on the commercial performance of Global IT’s strategic third-party partners
- You support the Head of IT Strategy in aligning the Sourcing Strategy
- Procurement Global function and devising a cohesive future for supplier usage
- You oversee the analysis of trends from multiple data sources to leverage value add and inform future service level improvements
- You ensure that contractual obligations are monitored, fed back to all relevant parties, and shortfalls are identified and rectified at the earliest opportunity
- You support Global IT teams by providing expertise in defining contract structures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)
- You communicate key contractual obligations to which third-party suppliers should adhere to Global IT, including Program Managers, Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers
- You motivate, develop, and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business
- You manage the operational and strategic relationship with Global IT’s third-party suppliers
- You provide strategic interventions for issues with third-party suppliers using contractual and commercial levers to achieve successful outcomes
- You escalate major issues to the Global IT leadership team for resolution

**Personal Requirements**:

- You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- You have at least 10 years of experience in the field of IT
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing multiple vendors and driving contract negotiations
- You have experience in the medical industry, preferred in a Consulting Company or directly in a Life Science Healthcare Company
- You have experience in successfully managing teams and executive stakeholders in multiple geographies
- You have demonstrable interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and coordinating skills
