**Working field**:

- HOLOPLOT is a pro audio company that builds sound systems. Our core technologies enable new ways to create an immersive sound experience and achieve optimised sound quality. This brings strong challenges and demands in ensuring good quality of our software. We are looking for an energetic and motivated working student to help with improving and testing DSP and audio related core libraries at HOLOPLOT.
You will be working in a small core team that works on the intersection of Research/Hardware/Software. Day-to-day tasks may include:
Porting code from Research team scripts (e.g. Matlab) into C++
Updating and maintaining the codebase used for interfacing and setting up hardware DSP
Writing tests and maintaining the in depth integration tests
Help improve our existing code base
Work together with other teams for planning and executing further features in our stack

**Requirements**:

- You live and study in Berlin or are willing to relocate to Berlin from somewhere else in Germany
Your studies are in the field of computer science, audio engineering, physics, maths, or of a comparable program. You are at least in the 3rd bachelor semester of your studies
You have some experience writing C++ and are interested in learning more about developing in modern C++
You have played with or have an interest in learning other programming languages
You want to understand more about DSP and working together with research teams
You are able to communicate fluently in English, both writing and speaking
What would really make you shine
You have some experience with audio software
You have tried making your own audio plugin once
Knowledge in DSP or more specifically audio signal processing
Some experience or exposure to modern C++ - you heard about the C++ Core Guidelines or maybe even browsed through them
You know how to use git’s basic functionality
