**Role Overview**

As the Head of Assembly, you will supervise the manufacturing process and coordinate the deployment of equipment and personnel for assembly at our Buschjost site. In this key position, you’ll have a technical and disciplinary responsibility for the valve assembly, final assembly and electrical engineering departments.

You’ll need to be highly technical with the ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure delivery reliability with the specified quality and production within budget
- Responsible for the continuous improvement process in assembly
- Ensuring and monitoring compliance with the applicable safety regulations and guidelines for accident prevention and occupational safety
- Handling of personnel deployment and production capacities using operational and legal regulations
- Exceptional and authentic leadership of the team by fostering a proactive culture and improving performance to meet customer needs
- Use of innovative manufacturing processes for improved quality and cost optimization

**Competencies critical for success**
- Technician/master craftsman training or comparable experience in the field of assembly
- 2-5 years of professional experience, including at least two years in production with a focus on assembly processes
- Extensive operational leadership experience and expertise in an industrial environment
- Experience in the field of Lean / Continuous Improvement; Experience in leading/facilitating Kaizen optimizations with a focus on improving KPI performance
- Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, desirable
