About the role

Are you determined by risk management and perhaps have a good understanding of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz - “LkSG”)? This role will be integrated in the Procurement Process Excellence Team (policies, systems and operational procurement).

What you will do
- Act as Project / Expert lead to coordinate all deliverables towards compliance
- Steer project “LkSG compliance” with external consultant and ensure timely deliverables and compliance as well as annual risk analysis, integration of human rights strategy in procurement department and contribution to BAFA report
- Drive internal and external communication incl. regular steering meetings with executive management
- Develop and execute overall sustainability strategy with first focus on LkSG process
- Perform reporting for relevant stakeholders
- Manage communication of requirements with internal stakeholders
- Manage coordination and communication with suppliers (questionnaires, compliance monitoring, supplier guidance, escalation to sourcing managers etc.)
- Closely cooperate with stakeholders such as corporate sustainability group members, Legal, Environment Safety and Health department (EHS)
- Together with legal, translate legislative requirements to executable actions within procurement to ensure compliance
- Drive software implementation
- Keep future initiatives & necessities in mind like embedding Supplier Risk Management (supplier mapping, part level risk management) or incorporation of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) and SBTIs into scope

What you will need
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sustainability Management, Business Management or similar
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant work experience in an international corporate environment
- Highly experienced in sustainability topics
- Legal and/or contract knowledge of clear advantage
- Strong in communication and great presentation skills
- Strive to drive, very structured and organized
- Project management skills are beneficial
- Fluent English skills (spoken and written)
