**The Team**:
The Procurement team is vital in supporting Jimdo’s business. Like most companies, Jimdo has significant expenses for technology and software, with contracts ranging from tens of thousands of euros to several million euros per annum. To help us negotiate and optimise these, Jimdo is looking for a senior procurement manager to join us and help us identify opportunities to save cost, manage supplier relationships and ensure our procurement processes are efficient and effective.
As our Senior Procurement Manager, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of an established purpose driven business where you will be responsible for maintaining and improving Jimdo's relationships and services across marketing and technology. You would play a vital role by connecting with business leaders and understand their specific needs in contracts. You would support them in negotiating their spending and add insight and novel solutions to their negotiating with suppliers. The strategic nature of the role will allow you to make a significant impact on the company´s bottom line by developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the organization´s goals.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, who has experience working in a scale-up or SaaS environment. We require someone with strong knowledge of procurement and experience within the sector, understanding varied purchasing and procurement topics.
Key skills:
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in English and German (speaking, writing & reading)
Ideally we would like this person to be based in Hamburg.
