Associate Legal Counsel, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

- Experience with IT, IP, data protection, contract, and commercial law.
- Experience working in a law firm or as part of an in-house Legal team.
- Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently.
- Qualified to practice law in Germany.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in managing, discussing, and advising clients in structuring international technology and IT related agreements or transactions.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently without administrative support, demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to travel and adjust to an international company environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer a variety of legal requests relating to German and European law from Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product, and other Google Cloud business clients and Legal colleagues across Europe, and the United States.
- Draft, structure and negotiate agreements, advice on partnership setups and maintain templates that comply with company policies and local law.
- Advise executive management, business clients, and legal team members on various aspects of the compliance of Google products with German law.
- Support litigation cases and regulatory investigations.
- Develop experience in a range of Google products and build effective relationships with business clients and legal colleagues in our various international offices.
