- A a global leader in the design and manufacturing of analog, mixed signal, power management and DSP integrated circuits is seeking a Principal Digital Design Engineer to join their team developing the next generation of embedded Motion Control IC/SoC solutions. The position is based in Hamburg.- **Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Perform new digital design using (System-)Verilog RTL, standard cells, or other approaches as necessary for mixed signal design to implement digital control of motor drivers
- Perform block and chip level verification and regression in UVM based environment
- Perform synthesis, timing analysis, and Scan/ATPG tasks
- Assist with physical implementation, Clock tree synthesis constraints, floorplan optimisation.
- Use version control recommended tools for source code and documents
- Use up-to-date design and verification techniques to ensure first silicon success

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with 8+ years of experience in Digital and Mixed-Signal IC design
- Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
- Strong team worker with multi-discipline
- Deep understanding of Mixed-Signal Design Flow and Top-Down development methodology
- Strong RTL coding and block-level verification
- Strong System-Verilog fluency in design, simulation, and verification domains
- Digital Functional Oriented and Randomised Verification
- Assertions, Regressions and Coverage Closure
- Timing Constraints, Synthesis, Place and Route (P&R)
- Static Timing Analysis (STA), Logical Equivalency Checking (LEC), Gate Level Simulation (GLS)
- Design For Test (DFT), SCAN Insertion, Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG), Fault Grading
- Good written and verbal communication (English)
