**Who you are**:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results Geotab is seeking a Solutions Engineering with technical background (Software/Firmware/Hardware) to become the customer advisor partnering with other teams like Sales.

**What you'll do**:
As a Solutions Engineering you will leverage advanced knowledge of the Geotab product suite from a technical perspective with the target to identify and recommend solutions best suited for Geotab customer needs.

**How you'll make an impact**:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to empower end-users and enhance their understanding of Geotab solutions.
- Engage and collaborate with customers to optimize their utilization of Geotab's technology, products, and solutions, tailoring the approach to meet their specific needs.
- Participate in and contribute to integration projects, working closely with partners, third-party integrators, and customers to ensure seamless implementation and deployment.
- Assess and analyze customer business challenges, identifying Geotab’s viability and proposing alternative approaches when necessary.
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of new Geotab products, contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's offerings.
- Create and optimize data-driven dashboards for cross-functional use, facilitating informed decision-making and efficient collaboration.
- Provide prompt and accurate technical support to sales teams, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Geotab Sales team to identify and deliver effective solutions for customer challenges, contributing to sales growth and customer retention.

**What you'll bring to this role**:

- 1-3 years of experience in a technical sales or account management position preferred.
- Background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.
- Technical experience using SQL or Google BigQuery preferred.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of vehicle circuitry and CAN communication.
- Knowledge of programming logic and understanding.
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Strong verbal communication skills in both German and English, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.
- Strong written communication skills, able to document technology solutions in precise detail, while also being able to summarize it succinctly.
- Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve well-judged decisions.
- Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
