We are looking for a passionate Asset Specialist Offshore cable (M/F/d) at our location Lehrte (Hannover) who will contribute to this and that might be you?**Your contribution to TenneT**:

- In this role you are respnsible for the creation, review and evaluation of** technical specifications, guidelines and concepts**:

- You manage and support the research and development projects in the field of **cable installation** with the purpose of optimizing TenneT’s offshore assets
- You take over the Support on the preparation of **tender documents**and **specifications**for cable projects as well as in **negotiations**:

- You are the **contact person** for technical questions during construction, operation and maintenance phases for offshore cables
- You actively contribute a** safe working environment** for yourself, your colleagues and external contractors

**Your profile and background**:

- This position requires a university degree in** civil engineering, mechanical engineering, offshore engineering** or comparable technical qualification
- Knowledge and experience of **offshore cable installation** and burial, knowledge of **German offshore regulations** is an advantage
- Ability to find an optimal solution taking both the technical and economic factors into account
- Ability to **communicate**and **collaborate**effectively with various diverse project teams and internal/external partners/stakeholders
- Very good written and spoken** German and English** communication skills
- Willingness to **travel**on business and Class and a B **driving license** is required
