Senior Specialist- Risk Assurance

We are looking for a** **Senior Specialist** (all genders)** to join **Risk Assurance, GRC **on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

The Risk Assurance team is responsible for the company-wide framework and operating model of Group Risk Management, the Internal Control System and the Group Insurance Program. This position is within the focus of the Risk management area with slight touch to the internal control system.

The purpose of the team is to facilitate decision making at leadership team level, by providing analysis and relevant insights on risk exposure as a result of uncertain outcomes, and by steering and validating mitigation activities designed to deal with bringing down critical risk levels. This involves steering and validating mitigation efforts to address critical risks effectively.

The role has frequent interaction with all levels of the organization, and exposure to business insights and decision making process. Through risk and internal control related activities, you'll gain a comprehensive end-to-end process perspective and the chance to support process owners in enhancing them.

**Your mission**:

- Assess, monitor and communicate the impact of (emerging) risks, deliver the Group risk exposure figures.
- Support the development of methods and processes for risk assessment
- Support the enhancement of risk management across the Group including the measuring and monitoring of the major business risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the regions and entities and support the business in responding to key events
- Review regional and functional risk assessments
- Compile presentations, reports and communications of key risk figures, concepts and results to internal stakeholders (senior management, risk and audit committees) and external regulators (auditors and regulators)

**Your heroic skills**:

- On-the-job practical experience of 7+ years in operational risk management, financial risks or non-financial risks.
- Applies advanced understanding of the policies, practices, trends and information that impact the organization and its customers to anticipate and plan for each step of a complex project.
- Strong technical (e.g. MS Office, SQL), quantitative skills with a focus on data analytics
- Demonstrates understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive projects and analyses that support the organization’s mission.
- Understands deeply risk management cycle and is able to identify risk exposure that arises as a result of internal and external decision making processes, and compare this to corporate risk appetite statements. Is able to design and implement risk mitigating strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences including senior management.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to confidently negotiate with senior-level stakeholders.

**Nice to have**:

- CRMP, RMP certification is a major benefit
- Finance, audit (big 4), accounting, controlling background
- German language knowledge
