simplesurance is one of the leading providers of embedded insurance focusing on ecosystems that are evolving rapidly, including mobility, e-commerce, travel, fintech, and banking. Companies like N26, LIDL, heycar, and OnePlus use simplesurance's technology to embed insurance into their customer journey, optimizing and improving the customer experience.

Currently we are looking for experienced BI Lead to join our team and manage the BI function within the company business processes.
Tasks
About the job...
- Work closely with different teams and cross-functional departments to convert their requests and questions in data solutions
- Be the main point of contact with our business partners and internal stakeholders
- Focus on data sourcing, data analysis, and database management
- Do analysis and reporting based on company requirements in different fields
- Be handling multiple projects at the same time
- Be able to work independently on day-to-day tasks
- Willingness to lead the team, give clarity on things and focus on team development
- Focus on the overall development of the company to move forwards
- Suggest robust and scalable technical solutions
- Handle data warehouse and business intelligence tools focusing on continual improvements
**Requirements**:
What we're looking for...
- You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence
- Critical thinking and excellent analytical with a solution-driven way of thinking
- Solid technical understanding of information flow, data warehouses, SQL, and any analytical tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- You like taking on responsibilities and have very good project management skills
- Have the skills to make challenging decisions and develop and maintain good stakeholder relationships
- You are a self-motivated person and able to work independently on day-to-day tasks actively
- Very data-driven, reliable, motivated, and flexible
- Detail-oriented, organized and proactive, and friendly person
- You combine excellent communication and presentation skills with fluent business English (German is a plus)
- Python, Airflow experience is a plus
