- ** Scientist (M/F/d) digital breeding processes **for our corn and oilseed crop department at KWS SAAT SE at the Einbeck site as soon as possible. This position is to be filled as a full-time position and for an indefinite period.**Your tasks**:

- Administration and further development of a cross-crop breeding data information system
- Intensive teamwork with the Breeding Information Teams of all KWS cultures
- Development of new software modules for the implementation of existing and future breeding processes
- Development of a reuse management system for worldwide use
- Close cooperation with plant breeding, research, and programming teams
- Travel to various KWS breeding stations in Germany and abroad to support and train users

**Your profile**:

- Ph.D. or M.Sc. in plant or animal breeding, information technology or similar disciplines
- Basic knowledge in the field of plant breeding
- Experience in the management, evaluation, and visualization of data such like database systems and/or the programming in R or programming languages
- Strong Interest in designing processes
- Very good communication and team skills
- Good language skills in English, and German skills would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
