**Corporate Development** is responsible for planning and executing the strategic direction of the Aurubis Group. Working in close cooperation with the business units and other central functions, we analyze the market environment and identify and evaluate strategic development potentials. We implement strategic projects, like mergers & acquisitions, cooperation with other companies, and green field investments.

**Your Tasks**:

- In this position, you are responsible for planning and organizing strategic projects from ideation through to completion phase.
- In addition, you make sure that project budgets are planned alongside the different stage gates feasibility study, basic engineering, detail engineering and implementation.
- You will coordinate the assessment of all commercial and financial activities like market and profitability calculations.
- Additionally, you manage cross-functional (e.g., Finance, Engineering, R&D, Commercial, Legal, etc.) and cross-border teams (Germany, Belgium and USA) within Aurubis to achieve timely and quality results, while working directly with Director, Executive Director and SVP levels within the Aurubis organization.
- You manage relationships and budget spending with external parties (e.g., suppliers of different services such as Consulting Companies, Engineering Firms, Law Firms, Industrial Real Estate Agents, etc.).
- Furthermore, you manage resource forecasts and create resource capacity plans for both internal and external resources.
- You will be supporting the communication of project progress and archived milestones to both Aurubis’ Executive Boards and wider Aurubis organization and you will prepare all necessary documents for approval and subsequent communication of results to Aurubis’ Supervisory Board.

**Your Profile**:

- You have successfully completed your master’s or higher degree in business or a technical degree. MBA is considered a plus.
- You have a solid technical background, with understanding of budgeting and financial reporting processes.
- You have proven project management skills in an international context.
- As an effective project manager, you are structured, analytical, well organized, stress resistant & able to manage your workload, ensuring an efficient allocation of your time.
- You have advanced business and financial modeling skills and practical experience in real business settings.
- You have excellent communication skills in senior management context and ability to build and develop relationships with people at all levels in the organization.
- Fluent language skills in English and in German round off your profile.
