We at Priceloop are on the mission to empower pricing managers to achieve more in less time. Pricing is one of the most critical business challenges for our customers. However, today’s market standard is manual pricing or rule-based automation, which both are not truly data-driven. We have big ambitions in changing how enterprise software is built and delivered, and we are seeking similarly ambitious professionals to join us in our journey.

Tasks

**What you’ll work on**:

- You will build and lead a team of machine learning wizards
- You will define the vision for your team members and empower them to be at their best
- You will continuously monitor the engagement, happiness, and productivity of your team by providing constructive feedback regularly to support them to grow in their careers
- You will promote a culture of diversity and inclusion and create an environment of trust where autonomy and alignment are no contradiction
- You will develop a strong sense of ownership and accountability among your team members
- You will help to build innovative ML products in the space of pricing
- Work with the other teams to shape ideas, narrow down problems and support the development process of our product

**Requirements**:

- You have experience leading direct reports
- You have a track record of supporting and motivating teams to achieve something great
- You have a passion for developing people and building teams
- You have good communication skills and can bring structure to complex situations
- You are comfortable with both giving and accepting honest and respectful feedback
- You know that Python is not just a snake but have a good understanding of what it can do and also its PyData ecosystem (pandas, scikit-learn, pytorch/tensorflow and many more)
- You have a strong theoretical and practical understanding of machine learning and statistics, especially in reinforcement learning and also optimization theory
- You like to work in an interdisciplinary team and are not afraid to work on engineering topics
- Preferably you have industry or research experience in price optimization
