- Vielfältige Aufgaben
- Analyze and improve existing trading processes and building new asset planning tools in VBA and Python
- Help implement processes, for new markets and short term trading activities
- Further development of existing trading tools and automation of daily processes
- Support the 24/7 trading operation and team in their daily operations (you don't have to work 24/7 but are always welcome to join shifts and experience some firsthand intraday optimization)
- Überzeugendes Profil
- Interest in power trading, trading strategies and energy markets
- Programming experience in at least one programming language (Python, R or VBA,)
- Ability to quickly comprehend and learn new topics
- Independent problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication skills and a pro-active teamplayer
- Good german and english skills are desired

Short Term Optimization takes care of the last 24hours of trading before delivery. This is necessary to balance our position to support grid stability, react to last minute price changes or power plant breakdowns. We are a specialized team managing Germany's second largest renewable portfolio and have a diverse mix of conventional and hydro assets.
While we expect you to focus on one main task, working in this team will give you a firsthand experience in electricity trading. With 24/7 Intraday trading, Dispatching and Day-ahead trading, you can have a look at the last stages of planning happening before power gets delivered.
