Conde Nast Affiliate Content team is seeking a Commerce Editor at GLAMOUR. The Editor will be tasked with overseeing the commerce strategy for the brands, as well as authoring written reviews of consumer products, buying guides and other forms of shoppable content, all reflecting the distinctive tone of voice of GLAMOUR.
Your tasks:
- This role will be required to identify content and product categories to ensure that these are relevant, have a search intent and will generate commerce content revenues.- You will write trend, evergreen content and regularly identify articles to be updated.-
- Monitoring of online retailers to identify offers that are of interest to our audience with an eye on commission rates.- Close cooperation with SEO-Team to continuously improve the content, focus on relevant and to align on seasonal and tentpole events- Help identify editorial categories that present commerce opportunities by studying purchasing data, tracking site analytics, performing a competitive analysis of comparable sites, and researching trends in the relevant product categories- Marketing and promotion: working with the editorial, audience development and marketing team to promote the publication and its content, and to develop new revenue streams.- Staying up-to-date: keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the publication remains relevant and competitive.- Completed university studies or comparable training- At least one year of professional journalistic experience as an online editor with a focus on affiliate content at a publisher or ecommerce- Professional competence in the areas of fashion, beauty, grooming and lifestyle- Indepth of digital KPIs and their optimization- Knowledge of editorial SEO- you know how to use google analytics, skimlinks and other tools- Sense for local developments and cultural changes and seek potentials within our brands/ editorial/ commercial calendar- Strong aesthetic sense in tone of voice and excellent writing skills- An attractive workplace in the heart of Munich with good public transport connections
