Financial Accountant

In this varied role, you will be part of the Continental European Finance team dealing with all aspects of Finance for eight entities in eight different countries.
Your key tasks will be:
- Day-by-day accounting for our Continental European entities (Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy)
- AR and AP accounting
- Bank payments, bank reconciliation
- Payroll posting
- VAT returns
- Inter-company accounting
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Supporting the Financial Controller in month end and year end reporting
**Requirements**:
- Professional degree in business administration/accounting
- Minimum two years relevant experience
- Excellent analytical skills, good understanding of numbers and finance processes
- Self-motivated person, ability to work independently, problem solving skills
- Very good excel and accounting system skills (we are using d365)
- Very good English and German language
