Essential Functions:
- Preparation of sales tax returns, annual returns, statistical reports.- Reconciliation of accounts and clarification- Involvement in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements- Participation in accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting- Monitoring of open items (dunning process)- Correspondence and processing of business and tax consultant inquiries- Coordination of payroll accounting, transmission and verification of payroll data in cooperation with the external service provider- If necessary, cooperation in the supervision of external auditors
Qualification Requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting and several years of professional experience- Certification as a balance sheet accountant- Fluent German and good English skills- Good understanding of payroll taxes and local labor laws- Knowledge in the areas of value added tax (VAT) and corporate income tax
