**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**: Ready to lead the department of product analysts and drive data-led thinking at a DAX-listed tech company? We're searching for an inspiring leader to head up our Product Analytics department at Zalando. It's an opportunity to shape a business-critical product analytics team working across a highly successful fashion tech company. As Product Analytics we're helping Zalando make data informed decisions during the product development process for all customer facing products in our core business (Zalando's App and website). As a head of Product Analytics your goal is to shape how we do things and enable the team of 20+ expert product analysts to deliver high quality work. Then this Head role could be the perfect next step in your career. **INCLUSIVE BY DESIGN**: **WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**: - You will lead the department consisting of several sub-teams that provide analytics support for different parts of Zalando's Digital Experience organisation. You will be responsible for leading the Team Leads and effectively shaping the work of 20+ Product Analysts in your department - You will represent the department at high-level discussions with cross-functional leaders (i.e Product, Design, Engineering and Applied Science) and contribute to strategic decisions - You will define ways of working and processes to help Product Analysts in your department deliver at their best - You will be scoping initiatives for your team based on high-level objectives as well as refining the external requirements coming towards your department - You will be shaping how analytics contributes to product development at Zalando **WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**: - You gained 10+ years of experience in Analytics domain - You worked in a similar environment: large scale company with complex stakeholder interactions and high-level assignments (that need to be further scoped) - We don't expect you to be hands-on, but you should be familiar with most of our areas of expertise: tracking and analysis of on-site user behaviour, statistics (esp. experimentation), KPI definition, coding and querying languages (SQL, Python/R/Spark) - You should be on top of trends affecting our industry (i.e GDPR) and understand the implications of choices regarding tooling and methodologies - You have experience leading departments, shaping ways of working and the role that the analyst plays in the company - You have experience working as a "lead of leads" not only as a team lead of individual contributors **OUR OFFER**: Zalando provides a range of benefits, here's an overview of what you can expect.
