Operations Support, Carrier and Dispatching

We are a growing team looking for an Operations Support, Carrier and Dispatching to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Berlin office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As an Operations Support, you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like building out the long-term strategy around capacity planning, organization, and handling of transport as well as negotiations with carriers and expanding our carrier network, in order to meet the needs of our customers and offer the best quality on the market. You’ll be collaborating closely with sales, account operations, central operations, and other teams to develop the product with lasting value, improve your sales abilities and learn about how we're changing the logistics industry. In this role, you will
- Build strong relationships with trucking companies' key contacts (i.e., owner-operators, dispatchers, and drivers
- Build long-term strategy & structural capacity plans with our carrier partners
- Develop new and grow existing carrier relationships (lead generation, cold calling, and referrals)
- Negotiate the best prices with our carrier partners

Identify issues and work cross-functionally to determine and implement the best solution
- Provide exceptional service to our carriers and customers
- Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system
- Take a data-driven approach to solving difficult issues

Help define processes to increase the efficiency and profitability of our business

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in carrier operations, road freight experience is a plus
- Know-how in convincingly addressing your audience and always hitting the right tone
- Top-notch strategic skills, as well as a self-starter mindset
- Excellent German Language skills, at least C1
- Polish, Bulgarian on Lithuanian may cover for a lower than C1 German level
- At least communicative English language skills
- Ability to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency
