**Your mission**:

- You take over the technical leadership in the field of Embedded System Design, and you are responsible for the knowledge management within the company for your area of expertise.
- As a technical expert, you advise the development team on certification and compliance issues and regularly represent meteocontrol at trade fairs and congresses in front of a professional audience.
- You support our product management team in the development, compilation, and technical review of complex technical concepts for specific product management requirements, including an advisory role to facilitate solutions.

**Your profile**:

- Successfully completed studies in engineering, computer science, communications engineering, or related qualification in the field of energy or communication electronics.
- Several years of experience in real-time software and hardware development of distributed embedded systems.
- Excellent knowledge of communication technology, embedded system security, PLC programming and processor technology.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux OS and interest in current microcontrollers.
- Experience with different programming languages and environments: C/C++, Java, Angular/TypeScript, Node.js
- Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) layout and electronic design automation using Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of Python or a similar scripting language
- Experience in working with embedded development environments
- Experience with version control, test-driven development (TDD), and software testing (e.g., unit testing)
- Effective and motivating communication to engineers, leaders, and business administrators
