**Job Overview**:
Our Global Data Solutions team forms an essential link between our business and infrastructure teams: it defines and implements business processes in data pipelines, monitors existing services, and thereby provides the best service to our customers.
As a Head of Core Data Engineering in our Data Solutions team, you will lead the Core Data Engineering team, which supports the transformation of Solactive into a data driven company using state of the art approaches to data collection and processing.

**Your Tasks**:

- Support the implementation of a cloud first strategy and migrate existing products and services into the cloud
- Implement a decentralized data mesh concept
- Supporting our business segments with specific evaluations as well as analysing, preparing and enriching data, data sources and interfaces of different (structured and unstructured) formats
- Help establish a data-driven culture at Solactive and collaborate with leaders across the business to support and implement high-value, data-driven decisions
- Identify conflicts between business and IT requirements and propose solution scenarios
- Recognizing and managing risks within projects and data products
- Establish an agile working environment and help geographically distributed, international teams to grow together
- Continuous identification of talent to further grow the team as well as develop existing team members

**Your Profile**:

- Experienced Team leader
- Experience in an analytical field (e.g. business intelligence, data science, marketing analytics) is an advantage
- University Degree with an analytical focus (e.g. business informatics, computer science or mathematics), paired with a passion for data and its visualization
- Experience in stakeholder management and conflict resolution, especially in projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creative thinking and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer-oriented, open-minded, and self-reliant way of working
- Fluent in English, German language is a plus
