The Head of Market Financial Reporting is a key role within the Market Financial Controlling & Operations department. The team operates within the End-to-End Accounting & Reporting framework of VF Group, serving as a key decision-making authority for strategic accounting judgements and as a nexus for compliance assurance on group level for Vodafone's local markets. Role holder holds ultimate accountability for timely and accurate financial reporting of all in-scope markets.

**What you will do**
- Accountable for timely and accurate financial reporting in SAP and HFM for all in scope markets (including Germany and Vodafone’s subsidiaries in Europe)
- Supporting Group Financial Reporting through ensuring timely submission of the monthly, quarterly and year results
- Supports and shares insights with peer Teams to drive the R2R evolution and standardization
- Aggregates and provides relevant, accurate and timely financial and reporting information to the Director Group Financial Controlling & Operations
- Ensures effective alignment with CSO and markets and be a role-model in collaborating with the wider Finance community and influence all relevant Vodafone internal and external key stakeholders
- Enforces a robust framework for gaining frequent transparency on all risks, contingencies or opportunities to financial statements. Provides this as critical inputs to Group Financial Reporting and additional key finance stakeholders.
- Creates a culture of proactive continuous improvement of processes, systems and people and provide a platform for the people to develop their career and employability
- Develops robust pool of talents and progresses these into leadership roles

- Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
- University graduate, preferably from Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, etc.
- 15+ years experience in finance, in-particular in all areas of finance operations either by practical delivery or through oversight
- Broad telecommunications industry experience
- Very strong cooperation, coordination, communication and presentation skills
- Analytical-minded, innovative, adaptable, team player and leader with broad experience and understanding of performance management

This position can be full-time or part-time (at least 30 hours).
We are filling this position at Munich or Düsseldorf for Vodafone Group Services GmbH.
