Credit Risk Intern

The mission of SumUp's **Lending Tribe** is to provide our small merchants, who are often turned away by traditional financial institutions, with access to capital to grow their businesses.
As **Credit Risk Intern** you will be part of the credit risk team, a cross-functional team managing underwriting and credit risk management of SumUp's lending products.
**What you'll do**
- Originate offer batches for all of SumUp's lending products globally, reflecting SumUp's risk appetite and ensuring financial performance targets for the credit portfolio are met;
- Collaborate closely with the Credit Risk Specialists and the Head of Credit Risk in defining the growth plan for the credit portfolio;
- Manage loan offers over time, monitoring the changes to potential borrowers that might impact their offers, and expiring/updating the offers when necessary;
- Analyze and report adoption and financial performance of the loans originated.
**You'll be great for this position if you**
- Are fluent in English, both speaking and writing;
- Have prior analytical working experience;
- Have knowledge of industry-standard analytics tools (databases, SQL, Tableau and Excel);
- Are familiar with finance routines (budgeting, reporting, etc);
- Are a problem-solver and have critical thinking to adapt fast to new scenarios.
