Regional Vice President, Sales Emea Central/south

Reporting to the VP of Sales EMEA & APAC, the Regional Vice President (RVP) is an experienced, collaborative sales leader that leads, supports, and directs a team of Sales Executives that position and sell PROS solutions across a variety of key strategic industries/verticals in the B2B space. PROS is powering modern commerce with dynamic pricing science to optimize every shopping and selling experience.
A Day in the Life of the Regional Vice President - About the role:
- Lead, support, manage, motivate, and coach a direct a team of 4-6 seasoned Sales Executives and cross functional pricing experts to open new accounts within key identified verticals and industries where annual turnover exceeds $500M.
- Drive, inspect, and coach all resources through the PROS sales process and be an advocate for all Sales tools and resources.
- Establishes and maintains employee performance standards. Works with employees to set goals and define development needs. Provides ongoing, timely feedback and periodic formal performance evaluations, per company guidelines
- Laying foundations for future team success, directly manages sales leadership team for assigned region, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Employ a disciplined approach to enable accurate forecasting, demand generation and opportunity management.
- Prepare annual business plan in support of company objectives. Manage, update, and implement activities and strategies to support the plan.
- Implement and drive Strategic and Channel account strategy and related business strategies in conjunction with management teams.
- Develop key customer and channel relationships to enhance market /product intelligence as well as creating opportunity, maintaining loyalty and continuity.
- Work in conjunction with the Marketing leadership to coordinate marketing efforts in order to maximize pipeline, sales volume, product mix and margin.
- Be the customer advocate within the PROS organization, liaising with our Product Managers to influence future product generation.
- Collaborate with Customer Success teams to develop and expand existing customer accounts and broaden customer advocacy.
- Work closely with the partner ecosystem to drive benefit for all stakeholders.
Required Qualifications - About you:
- You have proven experience. You’ve already proven your sales expertise by leading sales organizations for over 10 years in other SaaS-based technology solution providers. You’ve done this before but remain hungry and excited about doing it again with us. Experience with working for companies that are in SaaS space sold new paradigm technology.
- You're bright. Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred. Additional experience in lieu of required education will be considered. Education and/or experience in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, or Operations Research considered a plus.
- You’re street smart. You’re THE definition of a self-starter and a problem-solver. You’re resourceful and ruthlessly pragmatic. Self-starter with experience building a pipeline and executive client relationship building.
- You are an experienced mentor. You can lead, manage, coach, and develop your direct team whilst influencing your peers and their respective teams.
- You’re an open book. You communicate crisply. You go out of your way to be transparent in your actions and your words. You manage down, around and up with the same enthusiasm and without playing politics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have a global mindset, with a sensitivity to and willingness to work across cultures and time zones. Willing to travel up to 20% up to 50%.
- Preferred Language Skills for this region: German and English (French in addition is considered a plus).
