Your role
As Business Intelligence Lead (f/m/d), you will be responsible for setting up and running Business Intelligence at Avi Medical. Working closely with the leadership team of Avi Medical, you will enable data-driven decision-making and own internal analytics products, such as Performance Dashboards for our Medical Staff, which is why the accuracy of clearly defined KPIs is crucial.
You will work with our state-of-the-art Business Intelligence tech stack of Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, and Metabase to build models, analyses, and dashboards across the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Take ownership of the existing Business Intelligence set-up and expand it in accordance with our business requirements
- Get a complete understanding of how our business works and what KPIs and analysis we need to enable Avi (specifically our medical service and finance functions)
- Expand our well structured models for self-service data analytics
- Create deep insights into the operational business
- Build and maintain internal products such as performance dashboards
- Get a deep understanding of how the medical space works to identify potentials to improve our patient experience
**Profile**:
- First experience hiring and leading a team
- Expertise in data analytics and modeling experience (SQL and Python)
- Experience working with data in a startup/ scale-up environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple workstreams
- Curiosity and ability to independently learn new tools and technologies
- Great communication skills
- Interest in training stakeholders to better understand and work with data
- Structured work style
- Fluency in English, and proficiency in German is an advantage
