Job description

The Team Lead, Operations GSA (M/F/d) is an important part of our back-office team located in Munich-Laim for the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). She/he supports the Operations Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the Munich back-office team and is thus responsible for the smooth processing of orders to the satisfaction of our customers as well as the continuous development of staff and processes. He/she reports directly to our Operations Manager, GSA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Technical management of the back-office team in Munich
- Planning, prioritising, and monitoring daily business processes - from incoming mail to order processing and invoicing
- Developing and introducing a forecast planning system to better plan and structure future workloads
- Contact person and solution finder for the back-office team in any questions regarding order processing
- Continuous processing of errors in the operational process as well as training & further development of the back-office team to avoid them
- Continuous development of the back-office team in the context of customer correspondence to increase customer satisfaction through constant analysis of internal and external communication.
- Ongoing training and coaching of staff to ensure a high level of morale and motivation
- Preparation of optimisation ideas about quality, output, productivity, etc. as a basis for decision-making and subsequent implementation of the improvement measures
- Development and implementation of solutions for health insurance-specific requirements, both in terms of processes and systems, in close cooperation with the Operations Manager.
- Continuous evaluation of the implementation to identify and recommend new standardised and efficient ways of working.
- (Further) development of a (new) process organisation in preparation for an upcoming product launch
- Support in day-to-day operations in case of staff shortages

Required qualifications

Training and experience
- You have a degree in business administration/economics a comparable degree with at least 2 years of professional experience OR have at least 5 years of professional experience
- Experience in the fields of medical technology, pharmaceuticals/OTC, medical aids and/or consumer goods.
- Fluent German and English are essential.
- Knowledge of the diabetes market is a plus

**Skills**:

- Experience in managing small to medium-sized teams
- Strong communication skills, self-organisation, hands-on mentality, and pragmatism are necessary qualities for a successful job
- Initial experience in setting up and developing new structures and processes
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Ideally experience in coaching and staff development
- Pleasure in working with new technologies for digitalisation and automation
- Convincing team player
