**Your task**
The project aims to better understand the immunological mechanisms of respiratory infections, especially RSV infections, in very young children in order to develop new preventive and therapeutic approaches for this often life threatening infant infection. The analysis will be performed in vitro as well as in murine models and with biosamples of a clinical cohort of young children with severe RSV infection.

**Our requirements**
- We are looking for an individual with experience in immunology and ideally virology as well that likes to work in a motivated interdisciplinary team and aims to analyze scientific questions that are highly relevant for patients with severe infection. Expertise in murine models would be particularly welcome.
- We are interested in immunologists with special interest in T, B, DC and epithelial cell immunology.
- We are part of the Excellence Cluster RESIST, the German Center for Lung Research (DZL) and other national and international networks.
