Offshore Service Technician

**|** **Full-Time** **| Field Operations** The Vestas Service Offshore organisation is responsible for all activities in relation to the operation and maintenance of offshore windfarms in Northern and Central Europe. We currently have more than 4 GW under service contracts and we are continuously growing our pipeline and organisation. The wind farm you will be working at is Arcadis Ost consisting of 27 Vestas V174-9.5 MW turbines with a total capacity of 257 MW 19 km north east off the coast of the Island of Rugen, in the German Baltic Sea. You will become part of an exciting journey all the way from the beginning of setting up the service site and following operations under the 15 year service contract. As an Offshore Service Technician, you will work in a team of 3 or 4 technicians at the offshore wind farm, managed daily by the Site Supervisor. **Responsibilities** - Carry out the maintenance, repair and replacement activities of turbine components - Maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems - Supervision of maintenance and installation activities - Participation in recurring work-related training - Working time and material registration - Compliance with the health and safety regulations **Qualification** - Completed training as an electrician, electrician or mechatronics engineer (EFK) - Preferably you have worked in the wind and/or offshore industry. - Profound knowledge of medium or high voltage systems - Good English and German skills both spoken and written - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office **Competencies** - You are highly safety-minded and comfortable working offshore and at heights - We expect you to have good problem-solving skills and a curiosity towards constantly improving the quality of our services and our work methods. - You are motivated by being part of a high performing team that put proudness into delivering high standards to the benefits of our customers **What we offer** We offer you lots of opportunities for professional and personal development and to become part of establishing an offshore service team right from the beginning with a significant opportunity to make an impact. **BEWARE - RECRUITMENT FRAUD** **DEIB Statement** At Vestas, we recognize the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion in driving innovation and success.
